Postdoctoral Research Program – Natural Resources Canada (NRCan)

Posted on

The Postdoctoral Research Program (PRP) provides scientists with the opportunity to work with research groups or leaders in Canadian government laboratories and research institutions. In turn, the Government of Canada benefits from new and emerging talent.  Several federal departments and agencies will participate in this new program. Each department will be responsible for its own assessment of candidates.

This is a new pilot program replaces the Visiting Fellowships in Canadian Government Laboratories Program that was previously administered by NSERC on behalf of Canadian government laboratories.

Successful candidates will be hired as term SE-RES-1 employees. To see the salary scale, please refer to the SE sub-group – SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH SE-RES-1 http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/pubs_pol/hrpubs/coll_agre/re/re-eng.pdf

Note: The PRP inventory list will be open for 5 years.
